Shabby Fall Wreath

I'm sharing a shabby fall wreath made with thrifted sweater pumpkins.

It's September already and Fall will be upon us before we know it. Have you started decorating your house?

I made a couple little orange sweater pumpkins and was looking for a way to display them. If you haven't seen my tutorial for sweater pumpkins, you can click here to find that. I decided to use them to enhance a shabby fall wreath.

To make the wreath, I started by wrapping a straw wreath form with strips of torn drop cloth, then added brown rose ribbon on one side. Some hot glue and a few pins secured the pumpkins.

The wreath was taking shape, but needed something else. A drop cloth flower was the perfect finishing touch! Would you be interested in learning how to make flowers like this? Let me know.

I hope you're enjoying your fall decorating and maybe even making some cute things for your house!
