Holiday Gift Guide to Shopping for Plaid
Woo-wee, it's November friends!! While I love Thanksgiving and keep many of my fall decorations up, I've already started a little bit of Christmas decorating and shopping. It's definitely putting me into the holiday spirit!
If you're new here, Welcome! You may have already guessed that diy beautify is a place to find affordable inspiration to beautify pretty much everything! I tend to focus on home decor and DIY/crafts, but with the holidays around the corner I wanted to give you a fabulous and frugal shopping guide to help you cross off some of those names on your Christmas list!
Because around here, we like to keep it real. We are a real family on a budget, paying off our bills and living within our means. When you read my posts, and that includes my shopping guides, you will find items that I myself would buy...that means they have to be affordable (nay, frugal!).
I'm guessing that you're here because you're someone who likes a deal too!
Because it's amazing! Plaid is timeless, classic, can be cozy or chic, and nearly everyone loves it!
Today's guide is going beyond the standard flannel shirt. Although I love my flannel shirt, I'm going to show you some unique and fun items that you can buy for the plaid-lovers on your list (maybe that's You).

Plaid is a classic pattern and pairs well with just about everything! If you're not quite ready to jump in with both feet, try adding just one plaid piece that you love...you might find yourself adding more as you get hooked!
These accessories step it up a notch from the warmth of a flannel shirt. Add a little bit of plaid to your wardrobe and spice it up!
I'm crushing on plaid so much this year that I'm thinking of using it for our family Christmas card, something like these plaid Christmas cards by Modern Whimsy Design. They're colorful and classic, without being too cutesy.
Have you embraced plaid this year? Hopefully you found something in this frugal shopper's guide that will make someone happy this Christmas!
Be on the lookout for more plaid inspiration coming soon to diy beautify! I'll be sharing ways I've used plaid in my own home both this holiday season and everyday.
