How to Swap out a Showerhead (and Delta ShowerHead Giveaway)
I'm going to show you just how easy it is to swap out your showerhead...it takes about 5 minutes!
How often do we take time to be thankful for the small things? Like indoor plumbing and hot water tanks! It wasn't too long ago that our family members had to run outside to use the 'privy' when they had to 'go'! Can you even imagine? We've been making some inexpensive changes to our bathrooms and today I'm sharing how easy it is to swap your showerhead!
You're also going to have a chance to win a brand new Delta In2ition Showerhead at the end of this post. So stay with me, ok?
We've been working our way through our bathrooms and making some simple, inexpensive updates and upgrades! Like our mini budget bathroom makeover that I shared last week.
Now we're working on the 'kids bathroom' upstairs. Our plans for this space include paint, new flooring, industrial-style shower rod, decor updates and a new, money-saving showerhead.
We are using the Delta In2ition Showerhead with H20Kinetic Technology. What does that mean?
The In2ition® combines the soothing comfort of a showerhead with the convenience of a handheld shower, bringing ultimate flexibility to the bath. Available with optional H2Okinetic™ technology, which controls the speed, movement and droplet size of the water exiting the showerhead, the In2ition shower delivers the feeling of more water without actually using more water.Did you get that? You can control the size of the water droplets to save money while you shower (or while your teenagers take their endless showers!) The bottom line is an attractive, affordable showerhead that delivers an amazing shower experience while saving you money! The Delta In2ition Showerhead is available exclusively at Home Depot.
If you've ever hesitated about changing out your showerhead because you thought you needed to call on the services of a plumber, stop right there! It is so easy to swap out your showerhead, it almost doesn't warrant an entire blog post!

I would LOVE to do change out my shower heads and switch to a metal other than the ugly contractor's grade old shiny brass from the 1980's. I changed out all the faucets, door knobs, hinges, etc but the showers are intimidating. Any suggestions to change out the shower fixtures without tearing out the whole wall?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Kerry! If the piece sticking out from the wall doesn't match the new showerhead,i would try painting it. User a spray paint that's for outdoors and cover the wall around it. Good luck.
DeleteBrilliant! Of course! I got my Monday "duh" moment out of the way.... thanks for that. I painted my fireplace several years ago. Not sure why I didn't think of painting my shower plumbing. I'm doing this! Thanks Cindy. Have an amazing day.
