Fall Accessorizing with my Jord Wood Watch (and a giveaway!)
Some days are almost too good to be true! I had a day like that a couple weeks ago...on the very same day that our offer on a house was accepted, I got a brand new JORD wood watch in the mail! I did a little happy dance, and I'm excited to share with you today how I'm styling my new watch for Fall...as well as offering a giveaway!
Fall in south Texas is quite different from other places we've lived...definitely a far cry from my formative years growing up in Canada! By now we'd be wearing sweatshirts and eagerly looking forward to the first snowfall!
But here on the coast, I was happy when we got a cooler day in the mid-80's and I could pull on a pair of jeans! I'm pretty sure my fall wardrobe will consist of light, loose tops from here on out! After we move into our house and I unpack the rest of my wardrobe, I've promised myself I will find ways to wear my favorite leather boots!

Every morning I have a tough decision to make...do I wear my new wood watch with a chunky bracelet or something more delicate? It's actually not a difficult decision because it goes with everything!
I have a small wrist, and appreciate how lightweight this watch is...hard to believe a wood watch can be so light. It's actually quite a novelty to be wearing a watch again as the battery in my last one died and was never replaced. There are no batteries required in my JORD watch, I just wind it every few days and it's good to go!
We are enjoying Fall here at the beach; all this beach glass was found in the few short weeks that we've lived here while we're waiting for our new house to close! I can't go for a walk on the beach without looking for more...it's become a daily habit!
