10-Minute Christmas Decorating Ideas
Christmas decorating can be stressful! Today I'm partnering with several other home bloggers to share some of our easiest, stress-free 10-minute decorating ideas!
bringing beauty to the ordinary,
In case you're new to my blog (welcome!), we recently moved from TN to TX. I've been scrambling to finish the unpacking and home-setting-up so that I'd have time to decorate for Christmas.
It's become abundantly clear to me (and my chiropractor!) that I don't need additional stress in my life right now. So while our home will still be decorated, I'm trying to simplify and keep things as easy as possible.
My favorite 10-minute Christmas decorating tip is ribbon!
I love red gingham ribbon and it's a classic at Christmas! I like to tie it around my everyday pots and greens. A simple bow and a little sign from the Target dollar spot makes this corner in my kitchen instantly festive!
Having just unpacked an entire house...I don't really feel like packing up my everyday stuff to make room for an abundance of Christmas decor. So I'm trying to make it all work together!
I find a little pop of red all throughout the house makes everything feel festive! I've taken this same concept (ribbon) and applied it to a boxwood wreath that's hanging on the end of my cabinets.
Adding a pretty ribbon (this is actually a gift ribbon from Hobby Lobby - can't get any easier than that!) and a wooden greeting from the dollar spot means my everyday wreath can stay right where it is...but now it's ready for the holidays!
This is easy, 10-minute Christmas decorating that can be applied all over your home!
I stock up on ribbon at the end of the season so that I always have lots!
