Welcome back friends! We are hard at work on our sunroom wood wall feature. If you missed it, you can seen the design plans and a moodboard here. In the meantime I thought I'd share another little project we recently completed.

With three rooms on the go, I feel like I'm at a concert and three of my favorite bands are all playing at the same time! 😃

My head is spinning and my mind is going from one room to the next to the next. It's definitely time to slow down and focus! We can live without flooring in the half bath for awhile, right?!

In the midst of all the chaos (that, yes, I brought on myself and have only myself to blame), it's nice to have something completed!

When we moved into our home last year, one thing I noticed right off the bat was that none of the cupboards or drawers had hardware. Not a single one!

Our home was built in the 80's, and the previous owners had all the woodwork painted not too long ago. I don't know if hardware was never there in the first place, or they decided against it when they did the remodel. It hasn't been a big deal except that I do tend to break my nails off when I try to open some of the drawers.

Anyhow, when we painted our dark wood paneling and built in bookcases a few months ago, I was really pleased with the whole look. I thought I was done. I shoulda known...I'm never done hahaha (said with a crazy cackle!!!!)

I partnered with Hickory Hardware to add their pipeline pulls to the bookcase and let me tell you, it's like a whole new piece! The pulls add a 'grown-up', finished look...kind of like when you're all dressed up for a party but something's missing...and then you add the finishing touch with a great piece of jewelry.

Well, let me just show you because the pictures really do tell the tale!

I couldn't resist starting at the very beginning...

Painting the bookshelves was a major improvement!

But with the addition of the hardware...well, it's like the icing on the cake!

These bold pulls are large because the bookcase is so big. I think the  160 mm pipeline pulls have just the right amount of rustic while still being modern. I absolutely love them! And now we have gorgeous new farmhouse wood floors in this space, see them HERE.

I selected the black nickel finish; they're also available in a vintage bronze. The pulls look antique and modern at the same time and work so well with my modern farmhouse decor.

If you love these pulls as much as I do, please help me out and PIN THIS IMAGE for future reference!
