It's TIME to Deck the Halls!

This post is in partnership with JORD wood watches. They provided the watch I'm wearing for review; as always my opinions on decking the halls, wood watches and the color blue are entirely my own!
I'm so excited that it's time to deck the halls and I'm sharing some sneak peeks of my Christmas decorated home, along with my gorgeous new JORD wood watch and a giveaway!

I hope your Thanksgiving was blessed! It was wonderful to be surrounded by family and enjoy time together and good food! Lots of memories made!

What time is it?

It's time to deck the halls! I love decorating for Christmas! The colors are cheery and bright and I love the challenge of using my Christmas decor in new ways each year! And now that Thanksgiving is behind us, it's full speed ahead for creating merry in our homes!

Let's take a peek at what I'm working on in my home this Christmas. Oh, and that beautiful watch I'm styling is by JORD wood watches. Their products are constructed with incredible quality, each timepiece is unique and beautiful...and yes, their watches really are made from wood! In a little bit you'll have an opportunity to enter a giveaway with JORD, but first let's take a look at how I'm decking the halls here at our little farmhouse in Texas!

Classic Red and White

Every morning starts with coffee, and the hardest choice is what Rae Dunn mug I'll use...

I keep the Christmas decor simple in my small kitchen. Just a few select pops of red. I love how functional items like these red striped stir sticks double as decor!

Red berries in an ironstone pitcher and a couple of faux Christmas trees from Target's Dollar Spot in a vintage blueberry crate make a simple farmhouse Christmas statement in the breakfast nook. The table runner is actually two placements (similar) set end to end.

A Uniquely Different Christmas Tree

I've been busy putting up and decorating not 1 but 3 different Christmas trees! I've already shared my French farmhouse blue and white tree in our dining room. It's filled with real teacups and handmade ornaments that I'll be sharing soon, like these chippy spindles and blue and white transferware ornaments that I made.

The living room tree is full of painted and iced branches, ribbon and signs and my handmade Rae Dunn inspired ornaments. My ornament hangers were a tangled mess, so I bought new sturdy stainless steel ornament hooks this year and they're as beautiful as they are functional!

I put up a tree in my modern farmhouse office too...I want to be surrounded by beauty and inspiration this season, even while I'm working!

Christmas tree decor

I'll be sharing details of these trees soon...and how to think outside the box when you're decorating your tree(s)! This shopping snow girl is a favorite, isn't her little purse just too cute?! She's definitely dressed better than I am today!

Decorating in Comfort!

As a work-from-home momma, I'm most often found in jeans and a tee with my hair in a messy bun (hence the arm shots only) ๐Ÿ˜‰!

Christmas lanterns

It makes no sense to dress up at home when I'm usually painting something (like these jumbo rusty jingle bells that I wanted to shabby up a bit).

And, full disclosure here...when I'm decking the halls, I usually just stay in my comfy pj's! It's more merry that way anyway! Can I get a HO~HO~HO ๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ˜

I like to switch up my Christmas trees, decor and even my mantle from year to year. This is the first Christmas with our painted fireplace and farmhouse floors, and these updates make everything more beautiful! I'll be sharing more of my Christmas mantle on Monday!

When I decorate and craft, comfort is key and I'm often wearing leggings, which means my phone is sitting on a counter somewhere, but I never have to worry about what time it is when I'm wearing my JORD watch!

The watch I'm wearing is the Cassia Olive and Aegean Blue. Are you surprised I picked blue? ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’™The watch is crafted from European olive wood and comes in a beautiful humidor wood box, and includes conditioning oil to ensure it lasts a lifetime! It is so beautiful, and I'll be able to wear it with literally everything! The color of the face is a beautiful stormy blue, actually a perfect match for my glasses!
