When we lived in Flordia in the early 2000's, I remember visiting a great thrift store near the beach with a friend. They had a lot of treasures, but the back room had the deals!

I fell in love with the shape, size and charm of this dresser, even though it was in rough shape with chipping veneer, missing trim and a weird, melted wood finish.

I was hopeful that I could restore its beauty and even add some cottage charm. It took some work to repair the drawers but I think it was so worth it!

If you'd like to read the full tutorial and steps I took to repair this damaged dresser and turn it into a cottage beauty, you'll find all that information at  Cottage White Dresser Makeover.
