Do you love to organize with attractive storage? We recently updated the
small laundry room in our MS rental for under $50 by adding
DIY shelves and a brush stroke feature wall. Those shelves add so much style and function, the wall is super quick and
bold
(and easy to paint over - key if you're renting!) but maybe my
favorite piece in the room is that vintage storage caddy.
I found this piece years ago at a thrift store and loved the narrow footprint.
It's the perfect piece to tuck away in any small corner. I had been using it
as craft storage but when we moved to TX and
madeover our laundry room for under $100, I decided to use it in the room for extra storage.
However, it wasn't really functioning well for us until I added the baskets!
If you're interested in the full tutorial of this vintage storage caddy
makeover, as well as how I numbered the baskets, please read
Update a Cabinet with Numbered Baskets. Baskets are amazing, but numbered baskets are a game changer! When the kids
or Mr DIY are looking for something (ie: sunblock), I can direct them to the
exact place
"the sunblock is in the number 3 basket"!!
Keeping my family organized helps the whole house to function better, don't
you agree?
