Hello friends and welcome to September! Are you excited for cooler temps, kids back to school, pumpkin spice and all the fun harvest activities? Maybe you're already missing summer, but I hope not because I've got some DIY Autumn goodies to share with you today!

It's time for Thrifty Style Team, hosted by my friend Julie at Redhead Can Decorate, and we have some incredible things happening today! This is our 2nd annual πŸ‚FALL GIVEAWAYπŸ‚ You have the chance to win with 5 separate Fall giveaways! You'll find all the links below to enter each giveaway. It's all about thrifty Fall decorating for your home!

I'll give you instructions on how you can enter in a little bit but first I want to share 5 of my very favorite low cost Fall DIY decorations that your home might just be begging for! These are all items that I've crafted myself, and they are consistently popular here on the blog, so I thought you might enjoy seeing them all in one place!

5 Low Cost DIY Fall Decorations

I love to make my own seasonal decorations because it's such a money saver, plus I'm not a huge fan of the mass market decor. When you make your own fall decorations (do it yourself), you have so much more creativity and can personalize the colors and make items that fit your home and your style. I think you get a much bigger bang for your buck when you truly love your seasonal items!

1. Primitive Wood Bead and Fabric Sunflowers

The DIY pictorial for these fabric and wood bead sunflowers just hit my blog this week, it's a brand new project that I hope you'll love! When you click through to the pictorial, there is also a link for a video where you can watch me make these step by step! Aren't they just the cutest? I shared lots of ideas for decorating with these DIY flowers too.

You might also like my large DIY farmhouse sunflowers crafted from coffee stained drop cloth, another thrifty DIY that turned out so good and actually inspired these smaller flowers! My giveaway includes one of my larger flowers!

2. Sweater Sleeve Pumpkins

My sweater sleeve pumpkins are one of the top viewed projects on my blog, so I know you're going to love it! Made from thrifted sweaters, they are so cute, cheap to make, and easy to personalize! They may look difficult but I promise they're not, and I walk you step by step through the tutorial, right up until those sweet bendable stems! My giveaway includes one of these sweet sweater pumpkins!

3. Loop Yarn Pumpkin

You might have seen loop yarn wreaths, but have you seen a pumpkin made with loop yarn? It's so easy and takes only about 10 minutes start to finish! I hope you love this Fall DIY as much as I do!

This white crackle finish beaded wood tray was another thrifty DIY for under $20. Click here for the tutorial.

4. Pinecone Scale Pumpkin

What do you get when you destroy a pinecone?? A pinecone scale pumpkin lol! It doesn't get much thriftier than a dollar store foam pumpkin and a few pinecones! I am loving the texture this DIY pinecone project adds to my fall home decor.

I share the secret to getting that super high gloss finish in the tutorial below (there is also a video tutorial you can watch).
