I'll bet you love a good deal (don't we all?). But isn't FREE so much better!
I've found my share of free goodies on the side of the road, like the drawers
that I turned into cute and functional
DIY storage crates
and the antique that became a
DIY side table
and maybe my favorite of all time, a wooden crib rail that I turned into a
chippy DIY spindle tree!
I think many of us overlook nature's bounty when it comes to decorating our
homes for the Fall season. When my budget has restricted me from purchasing
fall stems, I turned to nature and found some amazing dried leaf branches that
I brought into my home!
As I'm typing this up, I realized that the little white table above was also a
free find! I cleaned it up and painted it a
pretty shade of pink
before going neutral.
What do you have in your yard that you can repurpose as cheap fall decor? You
might have seed pods, dried branches, pinecones, cattails, dried leaves,
berries. The list goes on! You'll find more tips and ideas for decorating with
foraged finds from nature in this post
