Hi friend, I'm so happy you're here! Let's talk about pumpkins crafted from
sweater sleeves!
Why should you make pumpkins from sweater sleeves?
Several reasons, but here are a few:- they're cheap to make, especially if you're using sweaters you were going to donate anyway! Even if you buy a sweater from the thrift store, you will probably pay less than $5
- one sweater can make a whole batch of pumpkins - 2-3 per sleeve, plus the body
- the sleeve is already the right shape (a tube) to quickly whip up these DIY pumpkins!
- sweater pumpkins add those cozy Fall vibes anywhere you tuck them, like a basket or a crate, coffee table or even propped up in a wreath!
Do I need any special skills to make a sweater pumpkin?
Not really friend! If you can thread a needle and tie a knot, you will be able
to do this craft! Give it a try! I'm here if you have any questions.
A few years ago during Hurricane Harvey, we were stuck inside, waiting to see
if our street would flood. I had visited my local Goodwill a few days before
and bought a few sweaters. Needless to say, all those sweaters were turned
into the cutest DIY pumpkins with all my nervous energy! If you'd like the
pictorial please visit my original post,
