Some of my favorite decor crafts have started out as not much of
anything.
I love how easy it is to transform brown kraft paper bags to make these
beautiful decor pieces. It's a great way to recycle paper grocery sacks, brown
paper lunch bags and even the Amazon brown paper packaging material!
Paper bags are much more durable than you might think, and these Fall
decorations will last for years! Check them out below, I've added the links to

Paper bag leaves on branch
The leaves don't start to turn colors here in Mississippi until very late
Fall, so I turned my hand to making my own "dried leaf branch" to add to my
early Fall decor and display in my home. This is super easy and you'll love
the minimal supplies.
My best tip: look for an interesting branch, one with several smaller
pieces branching off.
I love that this one has a windswept look!

Paper bag witch boots
These cute hanging witch boots look like something you'd buy from a boutique!
No one would ever guess they're made from two paper lunch sacks! The addition
of cinnamon not only makes them smell good but gives them a vintage vibe!

Paper bag witch hat
We've got the boots, now we need the hat. I made these witch hats in a smaller
size so you can add them as pumpkin toppers but feel free to make them larger!

Copper magnolia wreath made with paper bags
A copper magnolia wreath is so gorgeous and easy to make from paper bags and
paint. I also found it to be surprisingly durable (paper bags don't mind
getting squished, and actually look better with a little texture).

Paper bag leaf garland
Another gorgeous project is adding paper leaves to an existing garland for a
full and luscious look. The tutorial involves painting the leaves, but it's
not absolutely necessary.

Brown kraft paper ruffled runner
Turn a roll of kraft paper into a beautiful runner for your Fall or
Thanksgiving table. I added a double pleated edge, and a sentiment that I cut
with my
Silhouette Machine. If you have nice handwriting, you could do this with a Sharpie. I just roll
the runner up and secure with a rubber band, and it's lasted three years now!

Rustic book page sunflowers
Recycle an old book and some cardboard into these amazing neutral
sunflowers. The stem is made from recycled brown paper, and you will love
how easy these are to make! Includes a video tutorial.
